Dinner Commemorating Mike Calo's Departure from Masonry Depot in Yonkers

In case you haven't heard, it's the end of an era at the Yonkers. Mike Calo is moving on to a new career at Amtrak; going from filling yard bags, re-routing employees parked cars and checking customer's invoices to stowing carry-on bags, moving train cars and punching passenger's tickets.

Since August 2003, Mike's been a fixture in one of the company's neatest and most organized yards - running a close second to Rockland. His final day of full time employment will be January 14, 2015. As is usually the custom, any and all co-workers and employees who wish to bid him a fond farewell are welcome to join us at Rory Dolan's - a venue of his choosing - on that his day next Wednesday.

If you've never been to Rory Dolan's - or attended a farewell dinner - the following information may come in handy:

• Directions to Rory Dolan's (Google Maps): Exit 1 Hall Place / McClean Avenue, off 87S.
  After a couple tenths of a mile stretch on the long service ramp, then crossing Hall Place, make a left (head West) on McLean Avenue. The restaurant is 5/10ths of a mile down on McLean, on the northern (left hand) side of the street. Reader's Digest Version: It's essentially 2 1/2 miles south west of the Yonkers Depot
• Rory Dolan's Menu (Link: Select "Dinner Menu" from the "More Menus ▼" drop-down).
  The average priced entree is about $20, so the total meal should be under $100. As is custom, when the table check come, the tip is added and the full tab is split evenly between the number of  participants, minus 1 (i.e. Calo keeps his wallet in his pants).
• Gifts: Departing gifts for the honoree are not required, but if you're in a generous mood, feel free to select any items within your budget at Mike Calo's gift registry at Nike Jordan Brand.com. Mike also has a taste for Scotch, Dom Perignon

If you can attend, we'd (probably) like to have you. Dress casual, just come hungry (and clean). Once again the date is Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Try to arrive between 5 and 6PM at the bar by the front door.
